Introduction
Policy on the use of cookies provides information on various types of cookies and similar technology used on websites and in electronic transaction services (hereinafter known collectively as the “Website”), controlled and managed by the Department of Trade Negotiations (hereinafter called as the “DTN”). The DTN uses cookies and other similar technologies for the following purposes:

3. What cookies are used by the DTN?
The DTN Website uses its own cookies (First party cookies) and Third-party cookies, determined and set by outside service providers, such as Google Analytic, in order to enhance working qualities of the DTN Website. Based on storages, cookies used by the DTN may be divided into the following two types:
     • Session Cookies: also known as 'temporary cookies', help websites recognize users and the information provided when you navigate through the DTN Website, for example, session cookies monitor the language settings and selections, etc. Session cookies only retain information about a user's activities for as long as you are on the website, and are deleted from your computer or devices when you leave the website or the web browser is closed.

Based on the purpose of usage, the DTN uses three types of cookies as follows: 
     • Strictly Necessary Cookies: This type of cookie is essential for the DTN Website services to provide basic functions or to access particular features of it so as to enable users to browse and explore our website. Closing the use of strictly necessary cookies, main services of the DTN Website that need this type of cookies would not function properly. 
     • Performance Cookies: This type of cookie helps the DTN monitor the performance of its websites and how users interact with DTN Website services, including which pages of the website are most frequently visited, as well as any other data analysis. These cookies also provide information that allows the DTN to improve our website performance and to understand user behaviors. However, these cookies do not collect identifiable information on visitors, which means all the data collected is anonymous and only used for statistical analysis. As abovementioned, the DTN services may be provided separately on several websites. The DTN Website may contain links to third-party websites or social media, and may also embed content or videos originating from social media such as YouTube or Facebook, etc. This allows you to access content and interact with others on social media from the DTN website. Third-party websites or social media will exercise and set their own cookies, which are neither under our control nor responsibility. It is advised that you read and study policies and announcements of the use of those third-party cookies.
